By now, I am sure the majority of people are well aware of the multitude uses for pure essential oils, and how they can do just about anything from providing soothing aromas to helping improve overall well-being. Despite how well essential oils work on their own we would like to share how combing the relaxation and healing powers of massage therapy with essential oils would elevate any type of body work to a new level.
The best way to use essential oils in massage and the most common way is to put 10-12 drops of your essential oil of your choice, or you could ask your client if they have a preference, and dilute the essential oil with a carrier oil. Your carrier oil could be your favorite massage oil or massage cream you love to use during sessions. A really great way to morph these two amazing practices of massage therapy and aromatherapy would be to learn what essential oils are good for what concerns your client may have and taylor a special oil blend just for them. Here are some examples of oil blends based on a client’s needs and concern.
